QUOTE

THE QUOTE...

"I Shot An Arrow Into The Air, It Fell To Earth I Know Not Where"
Henry Longfellow 1837 - 1882

THE IDEA...

My interpretation of the quote is that it is of how fast we hurt someone not intentionally, we forget about it but later find that the ones we hurt still feel the pain, represented by unbroken arrows.

I wanted to represent being carefree within the font I use, to represent the throwing of arrows with no care or concerns on where it might to or what it might hit. I found in my research that this could be represented by exaggerating the length of certain lines within letters, most noticeably the vertical lines. This lead me to use the font Mona Lisa Solid ITC TT.
